Hailing from Bidgee Studio, Griffith, Hape Kiddle is finally packing the swag and heading to Eden for this year’s festival!

Catch him at Snug Cove on Saturday, where you can see him using hand tools to carve a whale sculpture, and browse small works and perhaps pick up a hand carved spoon or two.

Specialising in whales carvings, Hape draws on Maori heritage and the natural world for his inspiration. His clean lines and careful finishes result in elegant pieces. He also uses his studio as a creative space for collaboration via mentoring and workshops.
